Hi my name is Sam I`am 55 year old male and have heart problems. On the 19/4/01 I had a tripple by-pass operation. In July 2002 I experienced heart palpations (168 beats per minute). I visited my cardiologist in Oct 2002. He said he could fix my palpations by doing an atrial ablation. On the 15/10/02 this minor operation was done,I don`t have any palpations now. During the operation it was discovered that I needed a pace maker(which I now have).I walk 5 km per day and exercise every morning I`am feeling good and look forward to a long healthy life. I take Lipitor (40mg) per day (to control colesterol). On my Lipitor box it states that while taking this medication to avoid Grapefruit and grapefruit juice. Could this be that your heart is playing up. I would like to coresspond with you and anyone else who heart problems.

Regards Sam.
