I have a relatively short history w/ PCOS compared to some that i've read on here. I was diagosed a few months ago but i have been experiancing symptoms for the past three years. So here is my question/problem. When not on any medications, i do not get periods. I can get Provera stimulated periods and that works fine. My gyno advises that i be on a BCP as i am sexually active. At this point i have tried 6 different Bcp's : Ortho Tri Cyclen, Nordette, Yasmin, Triphasil, Zovia 135, and Lo-Ovral. The ortho i was on for a year and was fine until i started at college. Then i started experiancing excruciating cramps and breakthrough bleeding. I experiance breakthrough bleeding w/ all of the above. I would like to be on a BCP, but i am getting really really frustrated w/ all the bleeding. If anyone had been in the same situation and has any advice as to a next step i would be much appreciative. thanks, Helen
