Chris, i work for a group of doctors who frequently use prednizone to
cure all sorts of things. It is a steroid which is making your mothers
injury heal much quicker than it normally would, but not naturally. She
feels wonderful because it gives you so much energy. I can't really say
to many bad things about it if she only needs to use it once. It's when
you become reliant on it that it becomes a problem. It is not always
the correct answer to healing things though. If your body is able to do
it on it's own, let it do so. I hope my words were of some help to you.
Best of wishes to your mother.
Lisa
