Hi - you are not able to obtain Metformin over the counter - obviously as this is a diabetic treatment it is strictly controlled. Unfortunately not many GP's know of it's use in this condition - if you have infertility probs then ask for a Gynae referral - if not then you might find an endricrinologist of more use. Mine has been fab. dee
