I am 25 yrs. old and 6 months ago i was diagnosed with POCS and it's found on both ovaries. The doctor gave me Gynera for 6 months. After that she prescribed Metformin and just today i got my first shot of Luprolex (i get to have one shot every month for the next four month). With the research i've done about this drug it seems like everything i read about it has crucial side effects. I am terrified right now. I asked my doctor the side effects and the only thing she told me was "Water Retention". Now i have to take Metformin and wait for my next shot. I need to know things that my doctor discloses from me. In treating POCS at what stage am i in right now...all i want is to have a baby. Help!
