This message was written in November and I was just wondering how the pregnancy is going. I took actos and glucophage for 4 months. I was performing ovulation predictor tests every month and even in November, had a negative reading. While it was negative, I still managed to become pregnant. I performed a home PG test prior to seeing the ob/gyn and had a negative reading 5 days after I should have started my cycle. The ob/gyn ordered an hcg and it was positive. I took progestrone for 2 weeks for precautionary measures. I started bleeding shortly afterwards. I was taken off of the Actos immediately and slowly weaned off of the metformin. my yoke sack developed for about 9 weeks but no embryo ever appeared and I had to have a D & C. It was labeled as a miscarriage, making it my second unsuccessful pregnancy. My endocrinologist says the pregnancy was no good even before conception, based on the negative ovulation predictor kit. My ovum did not have the necessary hormones to take on the life producing mission. I am now waiting for my cycle to come and go and then I will be placed on birth control pills for 2 months. I am also back on the Actos and glocophage. After the second month of bc pills I will take one month of clomid. My ob/gyn says this will reduce my risk of miscarriage by 50% because I will have better quality eggs. Please follow up with me. I pray that your pregnancy is going well.

Thank you.
