I just began Metformin. I too experienced flu like symptoms but only after taking the met for one day. I stopped taking it for one day then restarted it I felt fine for one day I was taking (1500mg) then today I felt nauseous and had no appetite but forced myself to eat. I too am wondering if it will get better and my body will adjust or not.
