Hello... I have just been prescribed Metformin for confirmed IR & PCOS symptoms & began taking it tonight. For the past couple of years, on no medication whatsoever, I've been regular in my cycles, with them being every 31-32 days on the nose. I appear to be ovulating on a monthly basis as well. My main PCOS symptoms are weight gain & other cosmetic issues. My question is--has anyone with IR & PCOS that has had regular cycles had the Metformin UPSET their cycles? I don't anticipate this happening to me, but I've been reading up on it a bit & wonder if this could happen? As DH & I are trying to conceive, I don't want to upset a delicate balance, but also don't want to discount the benefits of Met for the IR. Thanks in advance. I just want to make sure I'm making the right decision for my body. Jihanna
