Since one of Metformin's major actions is to limit glucose output from the liver, could it be that we need to have a way to measure liver output, rather than regular blood glucose? I am wondering if for some reason, liver output is more of a factor than regular blood glucose in PCOS?

Very Good question - I for one have a fatty liver but my glucose test seem to always come out in the normal range. The last one that I had did something the the endo did not like so that is when he put me on Met boy was that a life saver - I have had a normal cycle ever since - As for the liver test I just had mine run this week and the dr called me back yesterday and every thing was normal.
