I've been taking it now (1000mg) for almost 2 weeks, and have had very little side effects. At first my appitite sort of just dissapeared. I had to force myself to eat when i took my meds, or i would feel real bad. But the last few days I have been so very hungry its unreal. Not really craving anything, just feeling the need to eat. Then last night I started to feel pretty ill.. flu like symptoms and unable to eat. Is this a normal thing on Metformin? Also, how long before my body regulates to the Metformin? I've been pretty lucky, in my oppinion.. based on some posts i've read about how it effects some of you. I've had no major side effects so far... besides what is going on now. Am mostly just curious if this is connected to the met or not.
