My condolences on your not being pregnant this month.

If her email address is in the email, I'd ask and see privately. I remember her being the only one I think, so hopefully she left a contact area. :) As for vitamins, are you getting enough in your diet? That would be my first thing. Do you have osteoporosis in the family and don't drink milk: it would be worth hitting the calcium. If you are taking Metformin, supposedly one of the B vitamins is depleted. I'd take the folic acid because if you are having unprotected sex in any way, it helps with neural tube defects. One of the ladies at my sister's workplace had spina bifida (I believe that's right) which is prevented with folic acid.

Best of luck,

I read back on a Nov 2002 posting about a women who was using Alph Lipoic Acid and had lost 75 pounds. I read up on the supplement and it said that it is helpful for diabetics. If I remember correctly my physician told me that we have the same characteristics as diabetics. I wonder if this would be helpful in regulating my insulin levels and helping me to burn carbs instead of store them.

Also I read that it is helpful for us to take Omega 3's, Folic Acid, Magnesium, Calcium, Vit B Complex, Vit C and Amino Acids. Is this correct at all?

I take Dyazide for mild hypertension and Provera and don't want to take anything that would interact badly with the meds.

Any one have any answers?

Thanks. Deanna
