Reply: Tami: "Re: Metformin and Migraines?" I have been on Glucophage XR (metaformin) for 7 or 8 months. I have had headaches for the last 4 months. I would talk with your doctor and make sure that they look at reasons for your headaches. My doctor doesn't believe that I could have migranes from Glucophage. I am seeing an Ear nose and throat specialist to see if the headaches are caused by something else, but I am sure they are from the glucophage. Hope your head clears up!!
