Hi Lesley I also have PCOS and am having GREAT difficulty finding a doctor who actually listens and cares. I have been to several doctors all over London and they all have the same answer - take the pill. They are very reluctant to try Metformin and one of them did but gave me a dose which I have found was very low so had no effect. It is very sad because there are many people suffering like you and me and no one is bothered. If you want a baby then they put you on clomid straight away thats it. Seems as though its much more advanced and treatment is much better in USA.
