I am concerned that there are increased health risks for me. I am 22 years old, and I have been using diane -35 for 4 years. It was originally presecribed to reduce my periods length and flow and primarily for my acne problem which was at a medium dgree. I have heard that Health Ccanada has not approved this product as a contraceptive, but I have been under the impression that it was 99% effective as a contraceptive. I Have no health problems or history in my family, my Mom had some cyst problems but besides that i can't think of any other health problems. I would really like to know if it is no longer a good idea to use this product, my acne is rare, i actually hardly have more than one pimple, if that in a month. What are the options that I have?
