I have asked several doctors about this many many times and they all say its nothing or 'genetic' even though no one else in my family has these patches of darker skin. Recently I saw a homeopath who said it was PCOS related having these patches especially in these areas - also I have several small 'cysts' on the darker patches on my inner thighs - have tried everything from scrubs and masks and exfoliation but they will not disappear. Has anyone else had this same problem and know anything about it being PCOS related ?
