Thanks for your prompt replies to my earlier post. I hated to hear some of your advice though because I've actually already HAD the OD. (Dec. 2, 02) I've been on metformin for about 9 months, tried clomid for 3 (totally resistant), 4 cycles with injectables (first gave no mature follicles, 2nd and 4th gave too many and 3rd gave 2, followed with IUI, no pregnancy. My RE is well respected by patients and OB/GYNs. I trusted him when he said OD was the right thing now I have 2nd thoughts! I just couldn't keep spending $1200 on injectables every month to have too many follicles to do nothing! By the way, the difference between my 1st cycle with 0 follies and my 2nd with 8 was only 1/2 vial every other day. During all cycles I was monitored by U/S atleast every 3 days, sometimes more. REs thoughts are that after OD I'll be able to ovulate just using clomid. I'm on that cycle right now, will find out if I have any mature follicles a week from tomorrow. Anyone have SUCCESS with OD?
