I gave birth 5 weeks ago and was on Glucophage XR throughout my entire pregnancy, but stopped it the day I delivered (my pregnancy was completely uneventful and healthy and my daughter is perfect!). My doctors don't seem to have an answer as to whether or not I should be on it while nursing. This drug worked miracles for me and my PCOS and I desperately want to go back on, but not if it could be unsafe for my baby.
