I read something very disturbing about Pergonal in a hormone book. The
author explained that female horses are kept pregnant with implanted
tubes which syphen off the necessary hormones since they can only be
gotten during pregnancy. It was a very tortuous method, apparently the
foals are killed immediately and the horses are then impregnated again.
It was a terrible terrible thing to hear and I hope no one uses this
Pergonal and instead tries other methods that don't have anything to do
with animal cruelty.
Very sad,
