Hi There, What you describe is exactly what I've been through. The periods, the hair and most of all, the pregnant looking stomach, with a thin 'rest of me'. I was only diagnised about a year ago, after 2 other GYNs and my family doctor telling me i had nothing to worry about, that everything was fine. I first asked my doc to check me for PCOS when I was 18 (I was 23 when disgnosed) and she refused. I then asked the two GYNs (both male by the way!) and they also refused. I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years, and finally started Chlomid a couple days ago:) The point of my babblings is this...there is help out there, but you may need to be firm with your doc to get any results. Don't take a quick 'You're fine' answer...you deserve to know what's going on with your body. Arm yourself with information, and they won't be able to brush you off.
