I just finished my second month of injectibles (lupron combined with Gonal f). I had 9 follicles the first month (1amp of gonal f) and at least 5 the second cycle on 1/2 amp gonal f. The follicles were in both ovaries. Both my cycles were cancelled because of high risk of multiples. Fortunately my ovaries work but they are very sensitive to the meds. I think 2 follicles is great and I wish I had only 2. Good luck.
