Anyway, i was put on it by my gp, and later on about a year or so i went from roughly 4 periods a yr to none at all, so i saw a endocronologist. she was shocked to hear i was on just cyprone and made me stop it saying it messes with ur hormones and stops periods(though my skin looks absolutely fantastic!!). u can take an increased dose if ur also taking the pill, which is what i now do, cos it levels out the effects. btw, as far as side effects, none bad i thought (i loved not getting periods!!)and i got wonderful skin:-) Next message: Amy: "Ok, I asked for Glucophage" Previous message: Amy: "Re: Glucophage"
