Previous message: Amy: "Re: Glucophage" I have been suffering from PCOS for the last 15 years and have been on various drugs. I took Metformin 500mg twice daily for 2 years with no result at all. Now my doctor is prescribing Yasmin but I have heard Dianette is also a good pill especially for PCOS. Can anyone please help - what are the advantages/disadvantages of Yasmin and also of Dianette - which is safer to take and also more effective for weight loss, hirsutism and bad acne.
