I am new to this board...Dx w/ PCOS 11/8/01, rt ovary removed at age 21 (9 years ago). I am overweight ( I won't say how much, but lets just say that when I answer about my weight, I say more than most, not as much as some :) ) I have all the classic symptoms. Ok, so I am 30 and we want children! I need to get my system back into wack...I don't know if I am insulin resistant, but I don't have diabetes.(How do I find out?) Does anyone have any good to say about Glucophage? or bad, I guess. What were your results? Did it help you to lose weight, ovulate, etc? Any info would be much appreciated!
