I am a 28 yearold Type 1 diabetic, who stopped taking bcp 6 months ago in the hopes of becoming pregnant. I was on bcp for 9 years. Since coming off bcp, I have only had two periods approximately 3 months apart. I am not overweight- in fact I have lost 15 pounds since coming off the pill. But I have noticed other PCOS symptoms - facial hair, acne, a sore feeling in my abdomen almost all the time- kinda like dull cramps, but off to the sides, a bit. I am assuming this is around my ovaries. Do I have PCOS? I am very anxious to get pregnant and am looking for my next steps. I am looking for advice on what I should do.
