Just to comment on the waiting ;ist it is normal to have to wait that long a month is oretty good I had to wait 2 and a half months. because there are so many people w/ glandular probs. And also my doc started me on 1500mg of glucophage. The weight won't peel off right away but if she eats right and does a little exercise(walking 30 min a day)she will start seeing improvements. And just something my endo told me was not to "diet". Dont make drastic changes right away in eating habits Just try cutting back on the amount first. Instead of drinking pop drink diet pop. If you were to drink 6 cans of pop a day thats 900 calories by itself. By switching to diet that cuts 900 calories a day out of her diet.

good luck
