I write from the UK and my Consultant Physician has prescribed Metformin since June this year and I have had great success. Regular periods and even reglar ovulation!! I have two kids and my periods were all over the place after the last one. Anyway My doctor wants to prescribe 2mg of Cyproterone Acetate daily (found in the Dianette contraceptive pill) but it appears that it is not available in the UK in such a small dosage. Is it available in the USA in this dosage format and has anyone had success in using it for treating hirsutism alongside insulin resistance?
