Re: Hopes shattered by a prominate PCOS doctor (kinda long, sorry)From: Paulette (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 25 Nov 2002 10:39:28 -0800 (PST)
I had a doctor tell me for eight years that I didn't have PCOS and that I just needed to loss weight and because I had put on over 200lbs at 32 the doctor said he was surprise I hadn't had a heart attack. However, all HOPE was not lost just because one doctor said so. I finally relocated and found a doctor who put me on glucophage XR, and then I find the Carbohydrate Addicts diet. I'm 60 lbs away from my average weight after finally being diagnosed in June of 2001. YOU CAN DO IT ALSO. DON'T EVER EVER EVER STOP BELIEVING. I found the diet in the Women's World magazine and stayed on it and began to see a complete turn away in my weight loss after years of struggling to lose weight. The authors of the book Heller and Heller talk about low-carb dieting. The book can be found at Kmart and/or Walmart. Stay Encouraged. --- Lakefever2 <anonymous@obgyn.net> wrote: > Oh my gosh!
