Re: metformin and pcos

I am depressed and feel BLAH! I have been diagnosed with PCOS and am insulin resistant. I have been taking Metformin for three months, previously to this I had my periods on time every month, they were heavy and uncomfortable, but, nonetheless, they were there. Now I don't have my periods, I have skipped a whole month, I feel disgusting, bloated and have cramps which are quick and sharp. I see the Endocrinologist on 13 December, I started to lose weight, but that has come to a halt.

I just don't know if this is all worth it, before I felt fine, was fat, menustrating but not ovulating, now I feel crap, am bloated, aren't menustrating or ovulating and feel depressed.

Can someone give me some hope~! PLEASE

Thank you
