Previous message: Melike: "Re: metformin and pcos" Hi all, i was on glucophage for the last two months after being diagnosed with PCOS. i had one course of Clomid as well. I ovulated on 30th Oct 2002 and had sex as well. Now last week i tested +ve for Pregnancy (Urine HCG Test). The doctor also confirmed it. I then had bleeding for a week. I was given Profasi 2000 dose last week. Now today, the bleeding has stopped. A couple of questions on this regard. 1) How long does the effect of Profasi 2000 last ? (Maximium 120 Hrs?) 2) is it safe to take Glucophage during this stage? 3)Does the bleeding affect pregnancy, as it seemed to be very little compared to what i had during my periods.. The color was also different. I tried the Hcg test again ad the Test Line was much much more thicker (ie After One week of Profasi administration - Hence my first question).
