I'm new here and I have several questions. 1) I just started on 1500mg metformin/day. I was wondering if it would help me lose weight. Also after taking met for a while, have most of you seen a reduction in all symptoms or just some? I need all the info I can get on Metformin!!!! 2) Due to the fact that prometrium would not work for me, my doctor suggested I go back on the pill.....he wants me to try the patch (ortho evra). Is anyone else on the patch? And does it hinder weight lose at all?
