Hi Angela,

Femara is an enzyme blocker, decreasing the amount of estrogens produced by the ovaries, thus tricking the pituitary to produce more FSH thus increasing the chance of ovulation. Although this is a new treatment, it seems to be a good alternative to clomid. For zour info
