Is it imperative that your daughter take BCP? I did not see weight loss on the met until I hit 1500mg and I found weight loss while on most BCP near impossible! The only exception I found was on Alesse... is Avian a generic form of that, do you know? If so, this is a good thing. :-) I recently went off Necon 1/35 (generic for ortho-novum) because it caused me to gain 10 pounds. So getting off that might be a very good thing for your daughter!
