In reply to: Heather: "glucophage" Next in thread: anonymous: "Mel was Re: glucophage" Reply: anonymous: "Mel was Re: glucophage" My daughter takes 1000 my glucophage xr and has not had the bathroom prob or the nausea ( she did have nasuea for aa few days at first but that went away) we did have to take her to the er yesterday her blood pressure went up so they took her off her B/C pill Necon 1/35-28 and put her back on Aviane-28 she has not noticed any weight lose yet and she has been on 1000 for a month ( but it takes time) and i worry about her getting depressed about that . she is only 17 and now weighs 230 and is around 5'6. we are waiting for an appointment to see and endocrinolgist( sp) and that takes months the dr said she we are on the waiting list.
