I was just to a class with an OBGYN and ENdocronigist and was told if you lose weight on glucophage it is only temp. while your body adjusts to the medication. The drug will help you long term with your insulin levels and maybe prevent long term illnesses such as diabetes and heart diesese. But for dieting they are finding it is giving no long term results.
