Clomid and ovulation

Hello,

I wonder if anybody could give me some information on this. I have PCOS and in order to bring on a period (to start Clomid) I took progesterone (dydrogesterone I think it is, trade name Duphaston). I bled on the 3rd day after stopping Duphaston, but very very little. The doctor said it was probably because I had low estrogen levels (he guessed, I haven't had blood work). So I started CLomid on CD3. I'm also temping, and now my chart seems to show that I O'd - my temps have been way higher for a couple of days. I guess that would explain why I didn't get a full on period. I also had some signs of ovulation that I usually have (very sore nipples). I thought it was because of the Duphaston (or just my body being so messed up), but now I wonder. I have a friend who had this happen to her twice, she ovulated after having stopped Provera, her doctor said to her it was possible but rare.

So my question is - what happens then, if I really did ovulate, and have taken clomid at the same time?! What does the clomid do? Will I get a period in 2 weeks then? Also I'm supposed to start taking estrogen pills from cd8 but I don't know if I should now. I should call my doctor but it's the weekend now and I wanted to temp a few days more to see if the temps really stay up. In the meantime I would appreciate to hear from anyone who has any idea!!
