HUH??? Yes, you are overweight, but that's hardly enough to say you have PCOS! Lots of women are overweight and do not have PCOS.

As for the "irregular cycle"... if you get a period every month, it can't be irregular. By one to two days, do you mean of bleeding? This is a very short flow time, and could indicate that you're not building up much of a uterine lining, which wouldn't be good if you're trying to get pregnent... Still, lots of women have short periods.

I'm not sure why your doc would give you provera. I thought it was usually given to induce a bleed...

I think you should ask if you could have a referral to an endocrinologist. Most ob/gyns don't know very much when it comes to PCOS. It's an endocrine problem, not a "female complaint..."

Based on what you've said, I would not think you have PCOS...
