I recently went to my gyn and she diagnosed me with PCOS even though I had normal lab results, she stated that beening overweight ( 5'4, 225 lbs ) and having an irregular cycle ( which I get every month but only for one to two days ) was the factor. So she prescribed Provera 10 mg x's 5 days and follow up in 6 months. Should provera be prescribed even if I do get my periods and could it hurt my chances of conceiving.
