Hi,

BCP should not be the only treatment for PCOS. Depending how severe the PCOS is, the approach is an insulin sensitiser and BCP (if desired for symptom management / contraception, and if it can be tolerated), combined with lower carb diet and exercise. Good nutrition is of course important. Some women have had success with natural treatments - but approach with care and make sure your practicioner is knowledgeable and properly qualified.
