Hi, I came across a couple of messages on this site that claims that Metformin causes hairloss. I am wondering if anyone else have experienced the same. I started on Metformin 7 years ago and I noticed that was also when I start to lose hair. I was put on Metformin because I'm a diabetic. I was diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago and was put on Diane 35, cyproterone acetate and spironolactone but that hasn't helped yet. Moreover, my hair loss is evenly over my scalp and not just frontal hairloss which happens with PCOS. I have been to many doctors and pharmacists who do not support my concerns but I just want to know if anyone else is going through the same thing as I am.
