DOctors" Which BCP is your daughter on? BCP can make weight loss impossible - my usual effect - or cause weight to pile on. I started ortho-novum in mid-August and gained 15 pounds by mid-Oct. Two weeks after stopping the ortho-novum - I switched to yasmin - i lost 8 pounds, and this was doing nothing I hadn't been doing before. A friend gained 25 pounds on ortho-novum 7/7/7... she also lost weight after switching pills. In the past, I have always found it difficult to lose weight on BCPs - I am carrying a stubborn extra 15-20 - but never before did I pile on weight like this on a BCP.
