You know what Muriel I am on my way as well to the hospital for the same pain it feels almost like labor pains! I have pco, but did not have this pain until I started on the metformin. I have only been on it for 4days now and I pray to God that it works for me but the abdominal pain on the lower left side is excrucitaing I took some pain relievers and I am going to wait to see if it works if not off to the hospital I go as well I rather for them to tell me nothing is wrong than for something to be wrong that could have been prevented...
