I am 32 and I have also been trying to get pregnant for the past year. If I had felt emotionally (and financially) ready to become pregnant in my 20's than I think I might not feel so hurried now as my bio-clock ticks away. (sigh.) I have PCOS and have tried 4 cycles of Clomid. THe result was no ovulation and a 40mm cyst on my left ovary! So, now I am on a month or 2 of BCP and hoping the cyst will GO AWAY. At times I have felt very depressed too. Recently however, I began seeing an acupuncturist who actually specializes in fertility issues. He has me brewing herbs into a tea and drinking them each day. They taste like a mud puddle, but have really improved my mood!! I highly recommend that you research your area for a skilled chinese medicine doctor to work in conjunction with your MD. My mood improvement has also made it easier for me to try the no wheat & flour diet that was recommended to me. Eating soup & salad each day (I'm a vegetarian) has also led me to feel better about doing all I can to help this process that often leads us feeling so out of control of our bodies. I hope you're doing ok. Please write again & let us know.
