I don't know if you have found other forums that are specific to PCO, nor am I certain as to the rules of this one so I won't advertise it here though if you would like to know I will accept emails no problem. I've been diagnosed for at least 10 years now, I'm 35 and my current doc is not 100% sure that he is dealing with PCO, but has no other real ideas. I'm curious as to your period if I may ask. So much of what I read has women experiencing no periods, whereas I seem to be in a minority of 1 (that I know of) who always has a period, and if that changes, then it's only that I get more than one or something similar. I'm still searching for a way to cure debiltating cramps and debiltating hormonal migraines. My doc decided to try Metformin for the headaches only because it helped another patient of his. I've been on it for 5 days now and I think I've had a headache every single day. Not unusual for me though. My body does screwy things with birth control pills too, like bleed more, and for longer. sigh. it's a mess, but it always helps to have other women to talk with through posts, or emails, and to share all that we can with each other because it is still fairly new, and there are so many different reactions. as to disability, I don't know. I'm not sure if anyone has looked into that yet or not. best of luck to all of us, and if I lose track of this page and miss a post feel free to let me know!
