I just went through Phase II trials (I think. It was the nine month study). The study was shut down a month early, but I think that was because one of the last to enroll. My experience (which will not be the same for everyone. Please keep in mind study was blinded, so I can not say for certain if I was on D-Chiro):

-Regular periods began after 3 months of taking meds (three 28-30 days cycles, one skipped month and another period) -Significant weight yo-yo-ing (I ended 8 lbs over my start weight). Weight gain has centered on lower abdomen (waist measurements went down, hips went up) -No change in facial hair or acne (but weren't severe to begin with) -No headaches or gastro probs -Decreased Insulin and Glucose levels (I just had blood work done)

To anyone else in the study: Do you know how long it takes for the D-Chiro to clear the system? I wanted to qualify for Met or ACTOS, but my Insulin levels are too low now.

Thanks, Amanda
