I have been reading alot of the messages posted here and I am quite confused. When someone has PCOS what does that exactly mean? I thought it meant just having a cyst and that my ovaries arent working however I have been reading alot about insulin sensitivity. My doc's have given me roundabout explanations but nothing to really make me understand what the implications of having PCOS are. All I know is that because of it i suffer from hiruitism and might not be able to have children. I am also overweight and after reading the stuff on the board I am wondering if my doc should be giving me more or different medications than just Diane and spiro. Does this mean if I workout regularly and eat healthy that I still wont be able to lose weight? This is all so confusing.
