I go to a reproductive endocrinologist who started me on metformin 850mg twice a day, he said this should work within 6 weeks- it didn't. So I then started on clomid with the metformin and have been having a period with good ovulation since. I would ask about this, also have you had any other testing done. If your're not getting a period you aren't ovulating and won;t be able to get prenant until you start. Good Luck
