Go, prepared with some acceptable game plans. Eat low to moderate carbs, exercise regularly, and perhaps try Metformin, which you could probably continue while pregnant. Avoid birth control, or any hormonal birth control, and see if you can get regular ovulatory cycles establihed. As folks have said, just starting Metformin can help to bring on regular cycles, at it improves your insulin sensitivity, which is a good thing.
