Jacqui,

I don't mean to be rude, but why do you want to get pregnant with this jerk? You don't need someone with a violent streak like that. He obviously doesn't want kids, so why be sneaky and force it upon him? He could get violent towards you and your unborn child, and he obviously wouldn't be around for you or the child after birth. This is a "no-win" situation.

He is too controlling. You don't need his consent to do anything. A normal, healthy person would have instead said that he's not ready to be a father, and that birth control of some type is necessary, and open a discussion to figure out which form is best for both of you.

But, if you go behind his back and have it taken out, it wouldn't be a good idea, and would put yourself and your child in jeopardy.
