Dear Melissa,
with treatment and good managmenet, it is quite possible that your
daughter will have children. Some people, even with severe PCOS, do get
pregnant and have successful deliveries. My little sister has PCOS
worse than me, she got pregnant with her husband by accident (they were
a little careless cause she thought that it would not be easy to get
pregnant) - she is not 7 months pregant and going great.
Don't worry unnecessarily about this at this stage - in all likelihood
your daughter will be fine - and treatment for PCOS is going ahead much
more rapidly now than in the past. For now most important is to manage
the PCOS and live a healthy and active lifestyle.
Best wishes
Sally
