Hi Sally-- Thanks so much for your post. I found some really good info on that Mary Shomon site--not like some of the flotsam and jetsam on the net. : )

I have multiple symptoms of hypothyroidism, but it confuses me where they overlap with my PCO symptoms. I truly just want to have more energy--my 7 mo. old sleeps about 16 hours per day and I feel like I could join him most of the time. I love my RE and don't anticipate having any problems getting him to run more than just TSH on me, but I don't know if he'll want to treat it (assuming there is a legit problem with my thyroid) or if he'll send me to a regular E, in which case, I'll have a whole 'nother time to tell my medical history and tx history to a dr who's not up to speed on PCO.

Anyhow, I'll let you know what turns out--Mary Shomon's site has good references for values on the blood tests, and I've bookmarked it so I know what we're talking about. Here's to more energy and feeling a whole lot better!

Thanks again!
